We started off with detachable mirrors when we first started towing with our Grand Cherokee. One mirror came off while traveling, lost the band that held it on. Then there's the taking off, putting on every time we went camping, which we do about twice a month and more when the weather is right. Purchasing these was the best decision! Install was exactly like the video said, took our time step by step about an hour to do the first one. Second one we learned a few tricks and took maybe 20 minutes. Highly recommend!!

I don't even change my own oil, but my wife and I had these installed in under an hour. They're fabulous, lane alert, heat, electronic memory, turn signal, and they look great for normal non-towing driving.

First I would like to compliment Atlantic British Ltd on their excellent customer service. These mirrors offer a great upgrade to the stock Grand Cherokee side mirrors. If you're in the US and don't already have a set, trim removal tools are something you want. $9 at Harbor Freight. The hardest part of the installation is the removal of the door panels, and that's not really hard. There are several YouTube videos to watch and see how. I do recommend checking the mounting nuts and bolts on the mirrors, before you start your installation to make sure there are no problems. Living in the NW and having to use ferries, I do recommend the power fold. These mirrors do stick out more than stock.
